About Me
Photography is one of my strongest skills and favorite hobbies.
I have been taking photos for over a decade. I began with two years of black and white darkroom experience. I gained an eye for telling a story through photos. Since that time I have shot largely with digital cameras. I currently use a Nikon D300 professional camera and equipment.
I began my part-time business in 2005 with sessions for catalogs and ebay with an occasional headshot mixed in. I have performed jobs for individuals, corporations, school districts and non-profit groups. Over time I have added weddings, engagements and the other services you see on this site. I formally opened the business part time at the beginning of 2009. I hope to take it full time at some point in the future.
I have photographed amazing landscapes, urban color and interesting objects; however, I always come back to taking photos of people. My favorites photos are of people smiling, having fun, walking, crying, frowning or even just living their everyday life.
To compliment my business I have a set of artistic prints to sell at art fairs and festivals and in the Store section of my website.
