Boston Commmons
A Photo Essay

What do you see? Do you see the trees? Do you see the buildings around? Do you see the activity?
In summer 2009, upon reaching the Boston common for the first time, my wife and I found a busy park full of activity. We sat down and rested in the grass before heading to other destinations.
Birds fed in the grass, people walked on their way and a group of people interested in horror films paraded through the park dressed as zombies and other creatures. It was exactly what a busy urban park should be.
This man was sighted taking photos and I started photographing him. His tattoed arms, backwards cap and attention to detail was striking.
You might ask what was so interesting?
Yoga being performed in support of Falun Gong.

I still believe the photographer was more interesting than his subject.
