My inspiration is to catch the moment. I will not put you into unnatural situations or poses but rather capture who you are and what you are doing. I take this a step further with unique angles and compelling locations. Color and light is my canvas. The best smile is a real smile and the best kiss is a passionate kiss.
I will take photos both inside or outside. On all indoor sessions I come to your home. I feel people are more comfortable in familar surroundings, especially young children. My favorite place to take photos is outdoors. Weather and lighting is not a barrier but a challenge. For outdoor sessions I know of many scenic locations in Kansas City and the surrounding suburbs.
Weddings
I take wedding photographs in a fairly traditional manner but with a twist. My strength comes in capturing the activities based around the ceremony as well as photos of the couple walking down the aisle, kissing and greeting the guests. I use my preference for unique angles to capture the entire wedding day. The best wedding photos begin before the ceremony and ends long after saying "I do."
Engagments and Couples
Engagement photos are a mix of the formality of wedding photos and the fun of senior photos. The best engagement photos reflect you as a couple and are taken somewhere with meaning to both of you. I guide couples into situations that make good photos, not into specific poses.
"Engagement" photos are not just for when you are engaged; anniversaries of all kinds are great times to get new photos as a couple. Show your love throughout your life with photos of the two of you.
Senior Photos
Capture the high school or college experience. Take your senior photos in your neighborhood, hangout spot or favorite location. It's popular to include sports equipment, a musical instrument, a favorite pet or even your car. Make your senior photos reflect you.
